As a student comfort and sleep trumps pretty much anything else; I'd much rather have an extra 10 minutes in bed, shove on a pair of leggings and go than spend any longer than necessary picking out a decent outfit to sit in a couple of lectures in. Up until a few months ago i'd have never dreamed of wearing anything other than leggings (jeans occasionally - mainly when my leggings needed washing and I hadn't yet got round to it). That is, until now. The printed jogger is every lazy girl's dream - comfy enough to shove on when you've snoozed your alarm once, twice or five times longer than needed, yet still stylish enough to look like you've actually made an effort. I am in love.
They're bang on trend at the minute and the high street is full with a medley of styles so you're guaranteed to find a style and print to suit you. The best part is that the majority of styles are 100% cotton and have an elasticated waist, literally making them a more socially accepted jogger and my favourite on-trend fashion piece that's hit the high street for a long time.
They're suitable for all ages - I have a pair, my sister has a pair, and my mum has a pair - cheap, and can easily be dressed up or down. Pair with an oversized top, a pair of converse and a messy bun for a relaxed look during the day, or with a cami, a killer heel and a red lip for a night sipping cocktails with your best girl friends.
Comfort, style and versatility. What's not to love?
